When Vaseline launched their line of spray moisturisers, we partnered with them to help educate consumers about the benefits of the new product. Inspire created the world’s first spray lotion vending machine and took it on an experiential roadshow across two countries – the UAE and Kuwait. We set up shop in many high-traffic locations indoors and outdoors, such as supermarkets and leisure destinations. The vending machine was a state-of-the-art, custom-made build, with a touch (using interactive screens) and dispense functionality. It included all three product variants in an easy load-in/load-out mechanism. Mimicking the bottle’s appealing branding, our vending machines drew quite a crowd across the activation spaces. A 360-degree in-built camera recorded live video footage of the entire activation and audience participation.
Customers first conversed with and gained information from our promotional team, and then took surveys on the interactive screens. These short surveys asked them about their daily moisturising habits and recommended the spray lotion as a convenient solution to keep skin healthy on the go or while on a busy schedule. People were able to try the product for themselves as they learnt about it. To complete the experience, they also got to participate in our exciting #IGotSprayed social media campaign.
The overall activation was a success, in which we captured strong engagement and were able to convey Vaseline’s ‘Spray, Heal, Go’ message in a fun way.
